Tennis Tournament Preparations
Gonnawannaplayagin' is one of our largest and most successful annual fundraisers. F.A.C.T. relies on the participation of individuals and businesses to fund summer camp activities and provide tuition assistance to families with financial need. The tournament is hosted by Cavalier Golf and Yacht Club in Virginia Beach and takes place on May 18,19, and 20. If you are interested in volunteering, playing, donating to the silent auction, or becoming a sponsor, please contact us.
Monthly Socials a Big Hit -
Local High School Students Make the Difference
Our first three socials have been tremendous successes. Over 100 children with autism, their friends and family have attended each event. Admission to socials is free and all children and teen with ASD are welcome. F.A.C.T. would like to thank the students of Landstown High, Princess Anne High, and Tallwood High for their energy and compassion. These events wouldn't be the same without the attendance of these very special teens. Upcoming socials include a "Sweetheart's Dance" on Feb. 10, and a St. Pat's day party on March 17th. see our calendar for more details. Also go to more photos to see the fun for yourself.
Spring Break Camp
F.A.C.T. is currently preparing for our first Spring break camp. A full week of camp with all the fun of summer camp is being offered April 9-13. Applications for counselors, peer buddies, and campers are now being accepted. Download an application at mini camps.Respond ASAP. Space is limited.
Kids These Days!
F.A.C.T. would like to acknowledge and extend their gratitude to some exceptional young people. Caroline Geroe and Nickolas Gilbert requested donations for camp in place of Birthday gifts. Thanks to their generosity and selflessness, F.A.C.T. will be able to offer four full scholarships to families in need.
